Alex Paquette, singer-songwriter, lives in Matagami in Northern Quebec. After several years spent in Montreal where he sang in the Quebec-Creole group Francbâtards, he decided to experience something new in James Bay. Music is always present and his life in the north inspired his first solo album, Reggae Nordique. This reggae album is tinged with folk, rap, and the omnipresent nature of James Bay. His collaborations with Mamadou Thioube (Senegal), S.O Unity (France), and KD Zérôm (Réunion Island) allow for a musical journey.
