Details: The Morning After Girls originally from Australia, formed by founding members Sascha Luschenko and Martin B Sleeman have toured the world several times over with psyche pop comrades like Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhols not to mention appearing at a number of festivals. Leading the pack of the new shoegaze movement the band relocated to New York in 2008. In this current world of technological distractions and depleting attention spans "Alone" is a refreshing slice of pure emotion and melody. "Alone" is the bands second album following on the success of "Shadows Evolve" songs from which have appeared in Vampire Diaries and Tony Hawk Ride video game. The album was recorded in Australia with producer Robbie Rowlands, mixed by Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Interpol, Nine Inch Nails) and mastered by Grammy Award winner Ted Jensen (Sigur Ros, Bjork, REM).
