Details: Product Description They locked up mob boss Paul Vitti in Sing Sing and that's where he sang sang - bellowing West Side Story tunes and convincing officials he's more suited for a nut house than the Big House. Better yet, the Feds say, let's release Vitti into the custody of his therapist Ben Sobel. ROBERT DE NIRO (Vitti) and BILLY CRYSTAL (Sobel) reprise their Analyze This roles and reteam with filmmaker HAROLD RAMIS (Caddyshack) and co-star LISA KUDROW. Amazon.ca After the commercial success of Analyze This, which even inspired the TV series The Sopranos, Warner studios have fashioned a sequel to it. Bringing together again Billy Cristal and Robert De Niro, associated for the occasion with the production, Analyze That continues to explore the relationship between a mob boss and his psychoanalyst. Victim of an attempted murder in prison, Paul Vitti seems to sink into madness. He hums West Side Story tunes only to fall into a catatonic state. The authorities then decide, on the condition that the mafioso finds the right path, to entrust him to his therapist, who has just lost his father and is suffering from terrible anxiety attacks. Pulling off a sequel is hard work, and Analyze That is no exception. Of course, the humor of the first film is still present: a few gags even recall Woody Allen, and the comic strength of De Niro is not to be underestimated. The set does not however manage to take off. Perhaps because certain replicas smell of cliché, perhaps also because the rhythm runs out of steam quickly. Or maybe it's just the unpleasant feeling that the producers have just taken the same ingredients and started over. --Helen Faradji
