Details: A department of molecular biology, on a campus. Somewhere in Europe, in the near future. An idealistic young geneticist, Thomas Nielsen, encounters an imprisoned monster, a woman killer, Vincent Iparrak. He claims to be studying her DNA, but he has a whole other agenda in mind. The researcher manages to convince the killer to become a guinea pig. If the geneticist proves that the killer was violent from birth, he will avoid the death penalty; in exchange, the killer agrees to let the researcher modify his DNA, in order to eradicate the "animal" in him. By a succession of coincidences, these two men who are total opposites will take the opposite path to the Other. The killer towards compassion, the geneticist towards aggression... A young idealistic geneticist, Thomas Nielsen, meets Vincent Iparrak, a criminal monster now serving time for having brutally murdered several women. Nielsen pretends to be merely studying Iparrak's DNA, but in fact the has his own agenda. The researcher convinces the killer to be his guinea pig: If the geneticist can prove that Iparrak's violence is inborn, he can save him from the death penalty. In exchange, the killer must allow the scientist to modify his DNA so as to eliminate the "animal" inside him. A chain of uncanny events brings these two polar opposites together in a clash between humanity and bestiality: The killer discovers compassion and the geneticist embraces violence.
