Details: A department of molecular biology at a university campus. Somewhere in Europe, in the near future. A young idealistic geneticist, Thomas Nielsen, meets an imprisoned monster, a murderer of women named Vincent Iparrak. He claims to be studying his DNA, but he has an entirely different agenda in mind. The researcher manages to convince the killer to become his guinea pig. If the geneticist proves that the killer was violent from birth, he will save him from the death penalty; in exchange, the killer agrees to let the researcher modify his DNA, in order to eradicate "the animal" within him. Through a series of coincidences, these two men who have nothing in common will travel the reverse path of the other. The killer toward compassion, the geneticist toward aggression... A chain of uncanny events brings these two polar opposites together in a clash between humanity and bestiality: The killer discovers compassion and the geneticist embraces violence.
