Discover with Annie the pleasures of a brocolesque underwater adventure where characters all more original than the others await you! Amazon.ca A true star among Quebec toddler audiences, singer-actress Annie Brocoli sets out to conquer the cinema with Annie Brocoli in the seabed, directed in high definition by Claude Brie and scripted by the sparkling young lady herself. Barely landed in the ocean, the beautiful Annie is led by Super-Net, the hero of the planet, in a treasure hunt whose goal is to collect and recycle everything that can pollute the seabed. Accompanied by her faithful Jérémy and Marguerite, Annie will then have the opportunity to meet all sorts of characters as eccentric as endearing. Rather pretext to interpret the songs of the eponymous album of Annie, the film stands out all the same by a sincere enthusiasm and by a contagious vitality. Playing all the characters (including the hilarious Germaine, the frog-star), Annie Brocoli does quite well, taking the children with her in her aquatic and colorful farandole. Although not nourishing strong narrative ambitions, the film manages to be as convincing in its moments of tenderness as in its passages of pure fun. A true ecological tale, Annie Broccoli in the seabed also has the merit of making young people aware of the need to defend our planet. – Helen Faradji. Review "Annie Broccoli in the Seabed is meant to be pretty, unpretentious entertainment that will put smiles on Broccoli's lit-up faces." -- Sylvain Prevate, The Journal of Montreal "Each song (...) constitutes as much technical and digital prowess as the artisans of Finding Nemo could even envy on occasion." -- André Lavoie, Le Devoir "It's all very charming, dynamic, enthusiastic and beautifully wrapped." -- Aleksi K Lepage, La Presse
