A criminal finance genius, Anthony Zimmer is wanted by every police force in the world. No one knows what he looks like, but in the race between those who want to catch him, Akerman, an exceptional cop, has a head start: he knows Zimmer will take any risk to see Chiara again. While the young woman is waiting for a rendezvous with the elusive criminal, she receives a note from him. To lose those tracking him, Zimmer asks her to approach a stranger and make it appear that he is the man everyone is looking for. Chiara sets her sights on François, an ordinary man who, fascinated by the young woman, will quickly plunge into a nightmare. Between manipulations and pretenses, they will all discover that beyond appearances, they are only pieces in a chess game being played while waiting for the master to arrive.

The DVD includes the original French version with optional English subtitles and a "making of" documentary.
