An album of confidences to weather the storms of daily life and piece together colorful dreams!

Ariane DesLions is single-handedly reinventing the craft of the children’s singer-songwriter. She transforms words, tinkers with songs, and patches together musical instruments out of recycled objects. From Quebec to France and across Western Canada, she has performed over 300 shows of her debut performance and self-titled album, Ma quincaillerie musicale. It is a true feat for this social worker, "fabricoleuse" (crafty-maker), and multi-instrumentalist, who, while still low-profile in national media, has already received numerous accolades, including the Prix Excellence Culture awarded by La Fabrique culturelle (2019), the Prix Mérite Estrien (2019), the Prix Relève from the Conseil de la culture de l’Estrie, as well as several creation grants from Musicaction (2019), the Canada Council for the Arts (2019/2020), and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (2017/2018/2019/2020).

Building on the success of her first EP released in 2017, Ariane DesLions returns with a second album titled Rêves à colorier. Known for healing heartaches with the help of her musical tools, she chooses to speak to us about her "all rumpled" family through a playful and orchestral soundscape that will have the whole family dancing!
