Details: Kleztory is a formation of professional musicians who come from different influences including classical, jazz, traditional Jewish and gypsy music. This amalgam of styles provides a unique sound and the performance of the musicians is of a high level quality. For more than ten years now, the group has put the talent of its performers at the service of klezmer music. Kleztory is more than 700 shows, including dozens of world music and klezmer festivals internationally. ARRIVAL is their last album in the running. With an artistic mastery both for the performers and for the arrangements of Airat Ichmouratov, this album offers original and traditional klezmer pieces. One of the novelties of Kleztory is the cimbalom player, a true virtuoso from Moldavia: Alexandru Sura. He brings surprising new colors to the group, including Bessarabian Jewish music. As for the violinist, Kleztory is lucky to have a very great performer: Elvira Misbakhova. Russian of origin, frail in appearance, she plays with power and manages to give us the very essence of klezmer music by opening the doors to this centuries-old universe. She is a violin prodigy and her fame is worldwide.
