Formed by guitarist-composer CF Picot, Atréal was born from a desire to create and share unique and captivating music. The group performed its first show at the Sala Rossa in Montreal, and the renowned poet and singer-songwriter Fredric Gary Comeau subsequently joined the ensemble to add a special texture with his writing and his warm, deep voice. The album's sonic aesthetic reveals the Acadian origins of the group's core members, with many references to the sea. 100% Francophone, the result is an ambient rock that perfectly blends the maritime with the urban!
