Massicotte is finally back with a brand-new album, Aux chutes Niagara. A collection of 10 tracks that allows us to dive back with the greatest pleasure into the singer-songwriter’s visceral yet dryly humorous rock-western universe. Massicotte retains the eccentric signature that characterizes him. At the microphone, he remains authentic, expressive, dynamic, clear-sighted, sometimes zany, and sometimes a bit melancholic. The rhythms of his compositions are denser and his guitar is sharper. As for his lyrics, they engage with current events of 21st-century daily life with plenty of irony.

The first single released last April, Tu likes pu mes statuts, perfectly illustrates Massicotte's approach.

Revealed in 2011 with the album Cowboy de ville, which earned him rave reviews, Massicotte followed up two years later with the EP J'ai jamais su danser, produced by Navet Confit. With over 500 stage performances to his name to date, he will soon be back on the road with his brand-new show.
