With this fourth album released in 2012, the Montreal quartet moves away from its early country roots and embraces delicate, dreamlike arrangements. In a luminous tribute to the night, organic folk instrumentation is enriched by organs and synthesizers over which rises the voice of the newly recruited baritone Mathieu Charbonneau. On this new groove, Stéphane Lafleur's metaphorical lyrics, increasingly refined, spread a vivid and graceful melancholy.
