BIOGRAPHY
B3 is a trio formed by Théo Brideau (violin, mandolin), Jean-Marie Benoît (guitar, harmonica), and David Boutin (keyboard, accordion). Hailing from the Acadian Peninsula, Théo Brideau studied music at the Université de Moncton and was also a member of several local groups. David Boutin has served as musical director for several major events and as an accompanist for many professional artists. Jean-Marie Benoit, nicknamed "Pit," is the pillar of the group, serving as the primary arranger and composer for the album. They offer us several well-known Acadian melodies, which have been rearranged instrumentally to create refreshing background music. B3 is an ensemble that specializes in ambient music. Formed in 1998, the trio has since performed at a multitude of events, notably government, commercial, and even private meetings, as well as at cocktail parties and conventions. The ensemble has carved out a prime spot for itself in these specialized fields. The group has therefore decided to broaden their audience by offering them an album with a fresh approach to these great classics. The album was entirely conceived by the members of B3. Rediscover tunes that have left their mark on the history of Acadian music.
