What interests above all the Sonic Youth of 1985 it is the work of the matter. Experimental tunings, endless saturations allow them to sculpt the sound, to stretch it then to break it without any care. This sound creation is coupled with a virulent social criticism which avoids breaking open doors dear to alternative groups (cf.
