Details: It is under the seal of eclecticism that this volume of the Ballades en promenade collection dedicated to Georges Moustaki was designed. Exoticism, commitment and romanticism are the three words which, perhaps, best define the life and work of this singer-songwriter of great talent. In any case, if we judge from the 21 titles of this fourth volume, entitled Voyages et Rencontres , where we find "La Mer m'a donne", "Gaspard", "Pornographer", "J 've seen servile kings' or even 'Bahia'. A special mention, too, for "La Marche de Sacco et Vanzetti", a song created by Joan Baez under the title of "Here's To You", which is none other than the music for the film by Giulano Montaldo retracing the story of the two Italian trade unionists who emigrated to the United States. -- Philippe Margotin
