BIOGRAPHY
Since Barachois released its first album three years ago, there have been 16 international tours and over 500 "encores"! Barachois is very proud to offer its new album "ENCORE," which captures the unique energy of the Acadians. Although their music has been classified as roots, neo-traditional, Celtic, world music, Acadian, and even children's music, it remains a modern evolution and interpretation of a living musical style that has existed for 300 years in a small French enclave in Canada's smallest province. Anyone who has seen Barachois on stage can attest to the energy they are capable of!
