Details: Legendary French-Canadian band Beau Dommage have announced the upcoming release of a fully remixed version of their debut album Beau Dommage, originally released on December 9, 1974, which broke sales records at the time. This brand new remixed version of the self-titled album will be released on October 28th. The announcement comes at the same time as the release of the remix of "La Complainte du Phoque en Alaska", an emblematic title recently crowned best song in the musical history of Quebec by the Journal de Montréal. This collection of signature songs was remixed by Ghyslain Luc Lavigne at Studio Treatment Room in Montreal, with the approval and input of the original band members. The new version of the homonymous album includes all the songs that made us fall in love with Beau Dommage, including "Le picbois", "Tous les Palmiers", "December 23", but in a completely new version. The new version of the album will be available in various formats, including CD and digital. Two vinyl editions will also be offered, including a 180-gram black vinyl edition.
