BIOGRAPHY
Électrique, the long-awaited second album from the Quebec-Scottish duo Bette & Wallet, takes traditional music to a striking level of novel sounds. Original lyrics inspired by urban legends and folk instrumental tunes performed on electric guitar make it a record that is as danceable as it is thought-provoking. Bass, foot-tapping, keyboards, drums, and body percussion, along with a choir and even throat singing, give this home-grown masterpiece a quirky sound.
