Details: "AKH tightens the noose", the tone is set for this plethora of powerful and dark hits. The godfather of French rap has decided to hit hard on this new album with an evocative title. Rage is at its height in IAM city… Twelve years of career and ten albums/soundtracks after the disconcerting "Mia", Akhenaton seems to have made a frankly negative assessment. His diplomatic efforts, his speeches in the media, his participation in various public debates have obviously led him to an even more disappointing observation than when he left his city. Or maybe our star was afraid to move away from his primary motivations, from the original fire. Need to (to) prove that concerns are unscathed, that the "niaque" has not dried up. Knowing the integrity of the character and his attention to his disciples (see Psy4 of the rhyme, Bruizza, Sako or Mic Forcing who appear here), this can be understood. The disgust is therefore at its height and the rhymes are all the more striking. The bias of pacifism and diplomacy seems to have been put aside and now gives way to bursts of dots on the i's. Exit the metaphorical stories, the denunciatory and direct tone (manipulation of the masses, political demagogy again, lack of courage and efficiency among the leaders, the fake rappers, the mafia networks…), even aggressive, is in order. Yet the Prince of Canebière has never had so much style (that is to say…). That is why it is difficult to doubt its authenticity. A lyrical photocopy of society, the album is certainly "black" but, once again, the perspicacity and the veracity of the discourse are confusing, and the realism of the texts remains just as poignant. When will the study of AKH texts be studied at school, and especially in meetings of elected officials?
