Details: Product Description Lojo Amazon.ca After Mojo Radio, Bohême de cristal perfectly enriches the discography of Lo'Jo Triban, a collective of Angevin origin and open to the world, made up of seven musicians and led by singer Denis Péan. Again produced by the accomplice of choice Justin Adams - ex-guitarist of Jah Wobble, who can also be found behind the console for Sinéad O'Connor or Natacha Atlas -, this album draws on many musical sources which happily collide: French text song (we remember in particular "Brûle la mèche" and "Mon amour"), music from West Africa (presence on several pieces of the Gangbé Brass Band of Cotonou, fabulous copper / percussion ensemble) and North ( the singing of the El Mourid sisters asserts itself as a preponderant element of the Lo'Jo sound), gypsy strings, all mixed with sensitivity, without losing this energy which the tribe systematically demonstrates on stage. Because if this second opus reaffirms the studio potential of the group, it is indeed live that these fanatics of the scene - followers of performances with visual artists or dancers and strong of an experience forged during numerous tours in the four corners on the planet - are still the most impressive. --Dambusta
