Again produced by the accomplice of choice Justin Adams - ex-guitarist of Jah Wobble, who can also be found behind the console for Sinéad O'Connor or Natacha Atlas -, this album draws on many musical sources which happily collide: French text song (we remember in particular "Brûle la mèche" and "Mon amour"), music from West Africa (presence on several pieces of the Gangbé Brass Band of Cotonou, fabulous copper / percussion ensemble) and North ( the singing of the El Mourid sisters asserts itself as a preponderant element of the Lo'Jo sound), gypsy strings, all mixed with sensitivity, without losing this energy which the tribe systematically demonstrates on stage.
