Author: Mononc' Serge

Format: Remixes included

Release Date: 06-12-2011

Details: Following his CD "Musique barbare" with the metal band Anonymus, Mononc' Serge returns to the fray with an album of trashy, twisted rock. For the first time in his life, the "uncle" wrote a batch of songs based on instrumental pieces composed by a collaborator, in this case guitarist Peter Paul, a specialist in tritones and strange chords that still don't sound too weird. "Ça, c’est d’la femme!" therefore offers a new musical signature and sound within the uncle's body of work, all without really alienating longtime fans. As for the lyrics, chaste ears should abstain; we aren't talking about political correctness here. Subjects covered: powder, women, joual, the band The Box, the PQ, the world of metalheads, autographs on girls' breasts, and much more.
