The album contains the well-known “Chats sauvage”, a country-flavoured ballad that seduced Quebec in 1986. Other hits followed, such as “Doux” and “Impoésie”. Loaded with awards at the ADISQ gala in 1987, Marjo seems to have unearthed the winning formula by offering simple tunes and catchy lyrics. His voice has become more refined, but fortunately still has that hoarse grain that characterizes it. His companion, the guitarist Jean Millaire, has a lot to do with the sound of Celle qui va, a balanced rock album where words and keyboards dominate. Marjo remains an indomitable fighter.
