Chaffrail - an old Acadian word meaning ruckus, noise, musical din.

The group formed in 2009 and is currently on its 3rd album, Jamais 2 sans 3.

The album is a compilation of original and traditional Acadian folk songs. With a "kitchen party" atmosphere, this music brings a certain joy of living. The songwriters and performers, Monique Caissie and Mariette Richard (M & M), grew up in an environment where music always played a major role, hence our musical roots. All the musicians on the album come from the southeastern region of N.B.
