Chaffrail - an old Acadian word meaning hariat, noise, musical din.

The group was formed in 2009 and is currently on its 3rd album, Never 2 without 3 .

The album is a compilation of original and traditional songs of an Acadian folk nature. With a kind of "kitchen party" atmosphere, this music brings a certain joie de vivre. Authors, composers and performers, Monique Caissie and Mariette Richard (M & M) grew up in an environment where music always played an important role, hence our musical roots. All of the musicians on the album are from the southeastern region of NB.
