Chloé Breault / Idiot Beaches - CD
Since 2014, Acadian artist Chloé Breault, from Bertrand, New Brunswick, has been making a name for herself in the francophone pop scene. A sensitive musician and lyricist, the singer-songwriter was previously known for her folk-pop melodies. Following her EP "Love" and successful tours both solo and with a group in Canada and Europe, along with a collection of awards and chart distinctions, she returns more mature from all these experiences, asserting herself both personally and musically in her new francophone album of invigorating pop.
The album "Plage des morons," produced by Benoit Morier, is both profound in its themes and light in its musical style. This very personal 10-track album (including one in English) addresses subjects that touch the Acadian artist deeply: her childhood, toxic relationships, the apprehension of daring to move on... The musical universe is built around pop with groovy rock flashes that make you want to dance on a dancefloor, in your car, or on the beach.
