The rapid rise of a charismatic young pianist, the story of Coeur de pirate told... Like a true buccaneer, Béatrice Martin boarded the ship of Quebec pop music without warning. But rather than pillaging it, the singer-songwriter behind Coeur de pirate brought with her a chest overflowing with little gems of piano-led songs. Nothing flashy, just pearls of about two and a half minutes, all fragile, all honest. Quickly, many high-ranking sailors welcomed Béatrice with open arms, causing some jealousy among other deckhands who saw in her only an opportunistic young siren, and a blonde one at that. – Olivier Robillard-Laveaux (Voir.ca)
