The strong and hoarse voice of Deschamps is somewhat similar to that of Gerry Boulet, leader of Offenbach, a band with whom the singer has worked for the duration of a tour. The contribution of other members of the legendary band – Breen LeBœuf adds his powerful voice and guitarist John McGale composed the music for "Straight Pipe" – also contributes to this relationship.
