BIOGRAPHY
Cy, who recently won the Éloizes award in the "Discovery of the Year" category, consists of Éric Dow (lead vocals), Jacques Blinn (acoustic guitar, mandolin, and vocals), Jacques Boudreau (acoustic guitar, keyboard, and vocals), and Guyaume Boulianne (acoustic guitar, mandolin, and vocals). "Deuxième nation" features nine songs, mostly composed by Cy, with the majority of the lyrics written by the band's lead singer, Éric Dow. Guyaume Boulianne also wrote the lyrics for one song. Two tracks are interpretations, arranged in Cy's signature style, and one is based on a text by Georgette LeBlanc.

The album was produced by Kevin O'Neil, with sound recording, mixing, and mastering by Jean-Pascal Comeau. Christian Kit Goguen supported the artists with the project's artistic direction. Cy released an EP in 2014, which has allowed the band to perform around one hundred shows since then across the Maritime Provinces, Quebec, Ontario, and France.
