Details: The year is 1912. Aboard the luxurious Titanic, the evening is dazzling. The Winfields, a close-knit family, celebrate the engagement of their daughter Edwina, as well as the sixth birthday of her younger sister Alexis. But at the end of the evening, terror invades the ship which hits an iceberg and begins to sink slowly. In the bereaved family, Edwina's parents and fiancé are among the dead. Edwina being the eldest, it falls to her to take matters into her own hands. Back in Boston, she cares for her siblings on her own while working day and night to save the crumbling family media empire. For 12 years, Edwina put her love life on hold, instead striving to keep her family together. But during a transatlantic trip, the first since that tragic night, Edwina discovers that she can no longer keep feelings at bay. She has an affair with a handsome Englishman who teaches her to love again. Finally freed from the past, Edwina returns to America and falls madly in love with a theatrical producer. True love ends up banishing the horror of that fateful night forever.
