Author: Avec Pas D Casque

Format: Original recording

Release Date: 10-28-2008

Details: "Much like its title, the new offering from the folk duo turned trio, Avec pas d’casque, is lush with 'Dans la nature jusqu’au cou,' the ideal soundtrack for the autumn season. Now supported by multi-instrumentalist Nicolas Moussette, the project’s melodies are less minimalist (featuring everything from the banjo on 'L’éclaircie de Pauline' to kazoos on 'Si on change les équipes...'), without veering into sentimentality. As for the lyrics, Stéphane Lafleur surprises once again with his vivid poetry, which this time around feels less fatalistic ('L’amour passe à travers le linge' is sure to bring a smile). In short, AP/DC delivers a work that simply makes you want to jump into a pile of leaves with an iPod in your ears." (ICI, Claude André)
