Details: Product Description Dufault, Luce Amazon.ca Much was expected of Luce Dufault's second album, but it must be said that Des Milliards de choses neither surprises nor disappoints. A host of quality artists wrote for this album, including Thierry Séchan and Daniel Lavoie. With the measured tone that characterizes her, Luce Dufault plays the required emotions, without overdoing it. She is serious in "Chanson pour Anna," sweet in "Un cœur fidèle," by Zachary Richard, and expressive in "De la main gauche," a cover of a song popularized by Danielle Messia. The tracks written by Richard Séguin, which are more atmospheric, are interpreted with intelligence. However, the conventional production never surprises, and the abundance of participants gives the whole thing a somewhat blurred character. Luce Dufault always gives of herself wholeheartedly and fortunately possesses the necessary intensity in her voice to reach the listener. -- Diane Jean
