A host of quality artists have written for this album, including Thierry Séchan and Daniel Lavoie. With the measured tone that characterizes her, Luce Dufault plays with the required emotions, without adding to it. She is serious in “Chanson pour Anna”, soft in “A faithful heart”, by Zachary Richard, expressive in “De la main gauche”, cover of a song popularized by Danielle Messia. The titles by Richard Séguin, more atmospheric, are interpreted with intelligence. However, the agreed realization never surprises, and the abundance of participants gives a somewhat vague character to the whole.
