Far from their electric and lyrical habits, the people of Bordeaux got off the rails, after fifteen years of living together, and abandoned their perfect practice of automatic piloting with guitars and howls. Not however converted to the great melodic game (the 24 minutes of "L'Europe" recorded with the diva Brigitte Fontaine met in Kékéland attest to this), they wander between strings, keyboards, electronic drums and female choirs. Voice at half mast, Bertrand Cantat dares immodesty ("Bouquet of nerves"), practices Dutronc-style enumeration ("Le Grand Incendie") or resumes Léo Ferré ("Desarmes").
