Details: The album Desjardins is a project bringing together several artists from the Quebec music scene to pay tribute to the work of the great singer-songwriter Richard Desjardins. Driven by Abitibian pride and a desire to highlight Desjardins’ magnificent poetry, the album, which will be released under the Rouyn-Noranda label 117 Records, is produced by the talented Philippe B, also originally from Abitibi. In addition to the latter, the album will feature Safia Nolin, Fred Fortin, Émile Bilodeau, Avec pas d’casque, Bernard Adamus, Saratoga, Keith Kouna, Klô Pelgag, Philippe Brach, Koriass, Les soeurs Boulay, Matiu, and Yann Perreau. For the duration of one song, each of them opens the door to both their own universe and that of Desjardins; it is precisely this nuance that makes the project so charming and unique.
