Details: With the release of Devant nous, Roch Voisine is launching his 22nd studio album on March 31. His first French studio album for over 5 years. An album of its time with 10 songs written by Roch and his friends on both sides of the Atlantic. Friends like Paxti (Everything brings me back to you – the first single already added on all the main radio stations), Romano Mussumara and Judith Bérard (for the song that gives its name to the album – Devant nous), Luc Plamondon for a first collaboration with Roch on the title Nos Combats, Christian Péloquin (Les dieux vert), the lyricists Fred Baron, David Nathan and Léa Yvane on music by Roch. And a cover of a title from La Chicane published more than a decade ago that Roch redid in his own way... I don't want to grow old. Produced by Jay Lefebvre and Roch, the album was recorded in Montreal in Roch's Home Studio, in a very different atmosphere from previous albums. A hard core made up of Roch, Jay and JS Baciu worked on all the pieces in addition to playing almost all the instruments. The contribution of a good friend, Corneille, was important in terms of the voice arrangements and the presence of friends like Sébastien Lefebvre (Simple Plan) gives this new album a sound like no other. Mixed by the legendary Tom Lord-Alge and Jay Newland, winners of several Grammy Awards®, Devant offers us a very current sound while remaining very close to Roch's musical roots. The ballads so popular with fans rub shoulders with more rhythmic pieces in a most successful amalgam. This Roch Voisine version 2017 will please long-time fans and convert many new ones. Over the next 24 months, a gigantic world tour (to be announced shortly) will allow Roch to visit all the fans in all corners of the world.
