Details: Amazon.ca In 1986, the rag burned between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. The latter took the reins and recorded temporary voices for rhythm'n'blues singers Bobby Womack and Don Covay. Jagger, annoyed, comes into the studio when it's empty and sings the final vocals. Atmosphere... And listening to this record, the tension is palpable. The only peaceful tracks are a ballad ("Sleep Tonight") and a reggae ("Too Rude"), both sung by Richards. Aware of the fact that a good cover is better than an uninspired original, Jagger imposes the old soul hit of Bob & Earl, "Harlem Shuffle", on which he roars with pleasure. The real success of the record, however, remains the cow love song "One Hit (To The Body)" with its framework of acoustic and electric riffs more stonian than life. --Hubert Deshouse
