Details: Amazon.ca Antonin Dvorak first presented his Trio No. 1 in 1877, three years after its creation. As for No. 2, it was composed in homage to Josépha, the composer's daughter who died at the age of two, and obviously has a more contemplative and darker dimension than the previous one. We find the Fine Arts at their highest level, in the 1960s, when their virtuosity was intact. The only "Western" version that can honestly compete with that of the Suk trio. --Eric Frank
