Émilie Landry is a singer-songwriter originally from Campbellton, in northern New Brunswick. Since 2009, she has appeared at events such as the Gala de la chanson de Caraquet, Accros de la chanson, the Festival International de la chanson de Granby, and Ma Première place des arts. Seeking to master her craft, she left her native Acadia three years ago to study music in Quebec City. At the Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy, she earned a diploma in pop and jazz vocals.
Blending pop, jazz, and folk with endearing lyrics, Émilie transports her audience into her mind, where simplicity flirts with boldness. She reveals herself to the public, armed with a voice that is both soft and powerful. Guitar in hand or seated at her piano, she theatrically recounts her stories through song.
