This special edition highlights the National Film Board of Canada's documentary "The Portrait", which follows Toronto-based artist Phil Richards during the creation of the official portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, commissioned by Canada at the occasion of its Diamond Jubilee. In addition to "The Portrait", directed by Oscar nominee Hubert Davis, this special edition features two NFB classics on the royal family, Royal Journey (1951) and Canada at the Coronation (1953).
