Details: Undisputed veteran of the hip hop scene on the south shore of Montreal, Jean-Michel Poirier alias Spartack does not do half measures for his album entitled "Deadly Ink", which is scheduled for release in September 2016. Indeed, exactly ten years after the release of his first mixtape, Spartack surrounds himself with several heavyweights of Quebec rap for his first opus in stores. We find among others the names of Sans Pressure, Ruffneck, Shoddy, Nino (from the Sozi duo) and Paranoize. The album also includes a collaboration with renowned American rapper Ill Bill, member of the New York collective "La Coka Nostra". Even before the announcement of the release of "Deadly Ink", Spartack already presented a well-stocked CV. In a decade of career, the rapper from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu has six projects to his credit (mixtapes and DVDs), in addition to having offered performances in more than 200 shows across Quebec. He has also published more than fifteen music videos on the web (Youtube), some of which in collaboration with big names in the Quebec hip hop scene such as Souldia, Yvon Krevé, Rainmen and Saye. It is therefore with the aim of crowning this prolific career that Spartack presents his first opus entitled "Deadly Ink", an album which he himself qualifies as the last sprint in which he gave his all!
