Excavation & Poésie was born from a meeting between two psychology PhD students who could no longer hold back their urge to scream; something often forbidden in the collective unconscious of the academic niche. The primary mission of the two musicians was to use music and the artistic space associated with it to create an open dialogue regarding taboo political themes: toxic masculine culture, unhealthy power dynamics, the medical obsession with human survival and early diagnosis, human vulnerability, and capitalism. And that results in literary folk/trad. Two years after its formation, two poet-excavators joined the group to help carry out this mission. Everyone is now united by a common need: to denounce, to create, and of course, to have a lot of fun. So far, so good.
