Details: Product Description Dion, Celine Amazon.ca With nearly 30 million copies sold and distributed across the globe, Falling into You is the album that propelled Celine Dion into the pantheon of international stars. The album's first hit, "Because You Loved Me," a song from the film Up Close and Personal, remained at the top of the American charts for weeks. Celine covers well-known songs with great personality, including "River Deep, Mountain High," popularized by Tina Turner, as well as a 70s classic by Eric Carmen, "All By Myself." For those who only know her English repertoire, Celine also offers three of the best songs written by Jean-Jacques Goldman for the album D'eux: "Pour que tu m'aimes encore," "Je sais pas," and "Vole," which become "If That's What It Takes," "I Don't Know," and "Fly" in the language of Springsteen. While the Dion-Goldman duo was a sensation in French, the magic doesn't quite take hold in English. --Jean-Yves Girard
