Details: Pierre-Hervé Goulet is a song artisan who blends the soul of lyric-driven music with an acoustic groove. A finalist on Star Académie in 2009, he later had the chance to experience a symbolic stay in Natasquan with Gilles Vigneault, who opened his eyes to the horizon of words. Despite his very down-to-earth tone and folk roots, there is always a breath of reggae in the air. Never truly present in his own time, he wavers between past and future, future and past, stories and memories, offering a timeless journey through words. After several impulsive decisions, sudden crushes, and missed opportunities, he is finally clearing the field for his very first album. Faster than his own shadow, he nonetheless writes his songs with a pencil. Often in contradiction with his own self, like his album and his show "Une chose à la fois" (One Thing at a Time), he tells his story "songfully" while playing with the sonority, form, and sensory perception of words. A literature student who never quite finishes what he is asked to read, he walks the literary paths as an impostor, hoping to find a few pieces of songs there.
