Forensic Science: Exhibit
Author: Lexicon Avenue

Release Date: 03-08-2004
Details: This summer sees the long overdue release of Forensic Records' debut compilation CD. Forensic Science - Exhibit A has been compiled and mixed by label artists and co-owners Lexicon Avenue aka Chris Scott, Mark Armstrong and Scott Bradford. The Newcastle-based trio have been keeping the North of England's clubbers moving for over a decade with their close involvement with the legendary Shindig club night, DJ'ing the world over and releasing tracks for a multitude of labels including Satoshi Tomie's SAW Recordings, Hooj , Yoshitoshi and (of course) Forensic plus remixes of Depeche Mode's "Only When I Lose Myself", Dave Gahan's "Dirty Sticky Floors" and more recently Seal's "Killer". Forensic Science is not only a showcase of the Lexicon's talent arsenal both as DJs and producers, it also amply illustrates the quality of material that has been released on the Northeast of England's finest house label. From the splendid More Filter Mix of the C&M Productions classic 'True House', Little Green Men's 'These Are The Beats' and Echomen's 'Spirit', there's also the unreleased versions of Satoshi Tomie's mix of Little Green Men's "Need" and 'Equator Fever' by The Dominican, as well as the classic Sander Kleinenberg interpretation of Lexicon's "From Dusk Till Dawn".
