François Pérusse / The Pirate Album - CD (Used)
SKU: QL-UUGD-KTOO
Noting how much Internet users exchanged his humorous capsules broadcast on the radio, François Pérusse decided to… hack himself! He searched among his old tapes and collected in this Pirate Album a selection of sketches which had not been retained on the previous discs. Released after a six-year hiatus, this new chapter of People's Albums should satisfy fans of the comedian.
Even if we understand why some capsules, too long or less effective, had been left out, the vast majority of the material here dusted off is worth a detour. We take pleasure in reconnecting eight times rather than once with the insolent "guy who shops", we laugh at the blunders of the blunderer and we can only smile in the face of the excessive optimism of Jean-Charles. To these sketches with absurd humor and abundant puns are added four songs, of unequal interest, including "La Grippe", recorded when Pérusse was, precisely, flu.
The artist also provides a card with a personal number that will allow Internet users to download funny recordings, in particular the delirious video "Hutchison-Fairmount", shot in 1992 for the defunct show Tease the planet. This Pirate Album is therefore nothing less than a small gift for all those who appreciate the work of the comedian.
