In March 2016, Fred Fortin released his fifth album, " Ultramarr ", after seven long years of absence in his solo incarnation. Quebec trembles under the impact of this unexpected and long-awaited return: we dare to speak of consecration, the album reaping the Félix "Author or composer of the year", "Album of the year - Critics' choice" and “Sound recording and mixing of the year”, in addition to being nominated in the “Album of the year – Rock” category at the ADISQ gala the same year. Good news never comes alone: iTunes Canada voted it best French-language album of the year in the country.
Between country pop, warm folk and progressive rock, the Quebec rocker's fifth solo album has everything to become a classic.
