Jon has won a turkey in a raffle and decides to cook it for dinner, for which Liz is invited. The only problem is that the turkey arrives alive, and no one wants to do the deed. Especially since it’s not so bad having a third pet, this time a feathered one. But when the turkey starts sleeping in Garfield's bed, watching his TV, and eating from his bowl, Garfield loses his temper. Off to the poultry shop it goes! They don’t want it at home anymore. Abandoned to its sad fate, the turkey could quickly end up stuffed with chestnuts, were it not for Garfield, who regrets his actions and decides to take action. Jon said there would be turkey for dinner, and turkey there will be—but as a guest, not as the main course.
