Malone (Thomas Jane) is a private investigator with a reputation for being tough... they say he is so hard-boiled that he’s impossible to kill. Sent to retrieve a briefcase from a dive hotel, Malone walks straight into a trap set by the city's most notorious criminal. Bullets, fists, and blood fly as Malone battles the imposing behemoth (Ving Rhames) and the army of thugs protecting the briefcase, its mysterious contents, and a voluptuous client who, with all the trouble she causes, may not be worth the effort.
