Much more rhythmic, scarier and darker than the first installment, which it definitely has nothing to envy, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is also more spectacular – as evidenced by the impressive Quidditch match – and funnier – than the image of the troublemaker embodied by Kenneth Branagh, a crooked sorcerer full of smugness, sickly cowardly and fearful.
