The album title, BBH, is formed by the initials of the three musicians who participated: Benarroch, Boissezon, Higelin.

Charles Bennaroch: drums, percussion, harmonica
Simon Boissezon: bass, guitars
Jacques Higelin: vocals

While Cigarette and Une mouche sur ma bouche, written solely by Jacques Higelin, remain in the minimalist vein of the Saravah label era, the other tracks, co-written with the album's guitarist Simon Boissezon, mark a decisive turning point in Higelin's career: until then an experimental-leaning folk singer, he embraced the status of a rock star, a witness to the violence of the city suburbs.

The album was initially to be titled BBH74, but as it was only released at the very end of 1974, it was ultimately named BBH75.

According to the French edition of Rolling Stone magazine, this album is the 5th best French rock album. The album was certified gold for 100,000 copies sold.
