Details: Amazon.ca The foundations of this new opus from the Berliners of Terranova were laid on the first EP of their side project Interstellar. The two founders, DJ Fetish and Meister, have enlisted the services of the young Shapemod to inject some new blood into their impure music. Starting from the depths of sticky trip-hop and haunted dub, the group's style has gained in cohesion and the trio brilliantly explores the dark side of its inspiration. We are therefore entitled to deleterious hymns with metallic echoes, bewitching voices, infernal basses, outdated synth sounds and choppy hip-hop beats. The deaf and neurasthenic cover of Bob Marley ("Out Of My Head") with discoid sounds and the ragga-electro-rock of "Mongril", in the company of the singer Ariane (better known under the name of Ari Up with the Slits at the end of the 70s), are jubilant. The voice of Cath Coffey (Stereo MCs) is also part of the captivating "Breath". This disc responds perfectly to the following equation: how to reconcile programming with a certain form of urgency specific to rock.
