Offside (Persian: آفساید) is an Iranian film directed in Persian by Jafar Panahi, and released in 2006.

With the Islamic Revolution of 1979, Iranian law prohibited Iranian women from attending sports competitions in stadiums. Jafar Panahi, already opposed to this law – which had indirectly affected him when his daughter was refused the right to attend a football match – wants to denounce with Offside, the inequalities of treatment between men and women.
