Details: Amazon.ca Francis Cabrel is one of the artists punctuated by a metronome. Every five years, a new album: Sarbacane in 1989, Samedi soir sur la terre in 1994, Hors-saison in 1999. No doubt he needs, to recharge his batteries, to retire with his family to the south -West of France. Be that as it may, the result is always up to expectations and the sales defy logic. Each of the last three albums has exceeded one million copies! If Cabrel always signs lyrics and music, he makes an exception here with the adaptation of a title by Otis Redding ("Since always"). For the rest - original songs - he alternates between reasoned violence on our society and modest feelings about human relations. "The world is deaf", "Almost nothing", "The rest of the time" are added to the list of his successes. As for the title song "Hors-saison", with a theme very close to that of "La Madrague" by Bardot ("on the abandoned beach..."), it is undoubtedly the most beautiful of the album. It is not without reason that, once again, 1 million fans acclaimed the album and gave it the shape of a diamond. --J.-PP and Thierry Cadet Product Description Cabrel, Francis
